Clear answers. Thoughtful care.
A concise overview of how care works, what to expect, and how our clinic approaches testosterone evaluation and follow-up.
Our Approach to Care
Our care emphasizes individualized clinical judgment and patient education. We focus on helping patients understand their symptoms, evaluation, and treatment options.
Men’s hormonal health involves more than testosterone alone. We provide guidance on metabolic health, nutrition, sleep, exercise, and cardiometabolic risk. Between appointments, we provide educational support. Medical decisions are made during scheduled visits.
What is testosterone therapy?
Testosterone therapy is used to treat symptoms associated with testosterone deficiency when clinically appropriate.
Treatment decisions are based on symptoms, laboratory findings, and overall clinical context.
How do you determine if treatment is appropriate?
Assessment includes symptom review, medical history, and laboratory evaluation.
Decisions are made based on the overall clinical picture, not a single value.
How do I know if I should be evaluated?
If you are experiencing reduced energy, low libido, or changes in performance, a structured evaluation can help determine contributing factors.
What can I expect from my first appointment?
Your initial visit focuses on understanding your symptoms, medical history, and goals.
You will leave with a clear plan for next steps.
What forms of testosterone are available?
Treatment is individualized and may include:
- Topical gels or creams
- Injections
How long does it take to see results?
Response varies. Some men notice changes within weeks; for others, it is gradual.
How often are follow-up appointments?
All follow-up appointments are conducted with the Nurse Practitioner.
Follow-ups are typically every 3 months during adjustment, then annually once stable.
What if my lab results are within range but I still feel off?
Symptoms are not always explained by a single lab value. We assess the broader clinical picture.
Can I ask medical questions by email?
Before becoming a patient, you may reach out by email.
Once under care, communication occurs through secure messaging in the TELUS platform. Medical advice is provided during appointments.
Do you see men under the age of 40?
Our care is focused on men over the age of 40.
Hormonal concerns in younger men often involve different clinical considerations and are best addressed within primary care or specialized services.
Are your services covered by OHIP?

What areas do you serve?
Ontario.
Are appointments in person?
No. All appointments are virtual.
